Taylor Pence writes YA speculative fiction with purpose to encourage empowerment and offer opportunities for readers to experience empathy.She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in English, and one day plans to pursue a PhD in English.

Her short fiction has been featured in a local library magazine: Another Story. She is a member of Realm Makers and an Aurora Contest finalist.A forever student, Taylor sharpens her writing voice by participating in writing webinars, studying craft books, and consuming a variety of YA and Adult speculative fiction in both the Christian and general markets.When not writing, Taylor enjoys devouring character-driven stories, capturing memories through photography, taste testing food made by her husband, and spending time with her two daughters. Currently, she lives in Alberta, Canada.
